We are excited about some of the new attractions coming to Walt Disney World! On our last trip we got a little peek of some of the amazing rides and lands that will be coming soon!
Over at Epcot a whole new galaxy is coming!
It’s the Guardians of the Galaxy! This ride is replacing the old Ellen’s Universe of Energy. Guardians of the Galaxy is expected to be a hybrid indoor roller coaster and looks pretty massive as seen in this construction picture.
Guardians of the Galaxy is expected to open sometime in 2021.
Also at Epcot, they are building the all new Ratatouille Ride in the France Pavilion! Construction is under way and expected to open in 2021.
This 3D ride will shrink you down to the size of Remy the Mouse as you race through Gusteau’s Parisian Restaurant!
Hollywood Studios is also undergoing some major construction too! Let’s start with Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railroad!
This attractions is replacing the Great Movie Ride inside the Chinese Theater and is due to open sometime in 2019. It is described as this:

Then there is the most anxiously awaited new land in the park…Star Wars: Galaxy Edge!
There has been a lot of buzz surrounding this one and if you are a Star Wars fan, this is something you won’t want to miss!
Opening late fall of 2019, Star Wars: Galaxy Edge is a totally immersive land that lets you live an adventure in a galaxy far far away on the planet Batuu.
We got a little peek of all the construction going on for this
And we were able to see the model of how it will look once completed.
According to the official Disney website you’ll be able to fly the Millennium Falcon, board a star destroyer and immerse yourself in a battle between the First Order and the Resistance, and even stay in a Star Wars Hotel! It all seems pretty amazing to us and it can’t open soon enough!
