A new form of guest transportation is coming to Walt Disney World Resorts, and it will take you to the sky!  The new Disney Skyliner, a gondola system, will connect Disney’s  Art of Animation, Pop Century, Caribbean resorts and the new Riviera Resort, that is currently being built, with Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway at Epcot. 

Last week we were able to to see construction of some of the sky towers near the entrance of Hollywood Studios and other places around the parks.

We talked to one cast member about the new transportation system, and he said that each cabin will hold up to ten people and that the system might even be ready by this Thanksgiving.  Of course that could be subject to change. 

Seems like a pretty cool way to get a bird’s eye view around Disney!   We will keep you informed on any updates.
